BIKE COMPONENT ILLUSTRATION
A self initiated project, I have a fascination with technical drawings, their simplicity but have that contrast with levels of incredible detail. I set about looking at the line art shading before the times of halftones in Photoshop.
Using a 0.2 pen, a ruler and my bike as a reference I meticulously recreated every curve, highlight and shadow in 1:1 scale. I screen-printed the drawings for an exhibition at the bike shope and cafe Look Mum No Hands! on Old Street.
